Autumn (September – October) would be our first choice, as the romantic atmosphere reaches it’s peak. But you can visit France throughout the whole year. Keep in mind it gets very crowded during the summer, and might get pretty chilly in the winter. If you’re visiting for a certain activity, such as skiing, make sure you take the season into account.

Paris is the most touristic city in France and for a good reason. We also recommend visiting Lyon and Nice.
