Where is Temecula?

Just an hour from San Diego and a bit further from Los Angeles, Temecula is a beautiful wine country destination in Southern California.

Temecula Valley covers an area of 32 square miles. Elevations can range from 1,175 to 2,600 feet and the region is characterized by the picturesque scenery of rolling hills and wide open skies. Throughout the winter, the snow-capped peaks of Mount San Jacinto and Palomar Mountain, as well as Mount San Bernardino and Mount San Gorgonio to the north, form a semi-circle to create beautiful panoramic views. Horse ride in the valley’s trails

Feeling adventurous? How about a horse ride. There are plenty of stables that offer horseback riding in Temecula Valley, and it’s a great way to enjoy the area’s beautiful scenery. Some even offer a wine trail ride and stop at some of the region’s wineries like Galaway Downs or Green Acres. Just be sure to make a reservation in advance.

Of course, if you’re already a professional horse rider, you can just bring your own horse to one of the local stables and they will take care of him/her for you.

Fly on a Hot Air Balloons

Take the skies! The area is home to several hot air balloon companies that offer rides year-round. Believe us, the views of southern California’s unique topography and beautiful estates are breathtaking. You can choose this for a romantic morning with your partner, a celebration, or even just a family outing. Note that due to strong winds in the evening, you can only take sunrise flights, but those will surly leave you with a dreamy experience.

The old town of Temecula is home to a number of great venues that offer everything from music to comedy shows, and theater to symphonies.

Getting some exercise and enjoying the outdoors? what a combination.

The rolling hills of Temecula Valley make for a beautiful and challenging bike ride, and they have well-made trails that take you through vine gardens, wineries, and cool viewpoints.

You can find several routes online, some are considered challenging and extreme while others are more friendly.

We suggest you take a route that ends inside the old town, so you can enjoy a cold ice cream cone after your long exercise, as a reward.
